The exhibition, Without complex, presents three contemporary positions in painting (French and German) that share a certain impartiality in treating major historical iconographies, styles and esthetics which are generally perceived today as old-fashioned, politically incorrect and/or anachronistic. Norbert Bisky Born in 1970, Leipzig, Germany. Education: Hochschule der Kunst, Berlin (Klasse Baselitz), Salzburger Sommerakademie (Klasse Jim Dine). He lives and works in Berlin. Steven Black Born in 1973, Melbourne, Australia. Education: Queensland College of Art, Australia and Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst, Leipzig (Klasse von Prof. Arno Rink). He lives and works in Leipzig. Gregory Forstner Born in 1975, Douala, Cameroon. Education: Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst, Vienna and Villa Arson, Nice. He lives in Nice.
