Galerie Jocelyn Wolff is pleased to be part of Artissima 2022, pursuing its dialogue with KOW gallery for the second consecutive year. Taking advantage of the connections between their programmes, the two galleries have been fostering dialogues engaging their artists’ respective artistic and social commitments. The exhibition will offer constructive confrontations in the reading of the works. From the performative and militant bodies of Miriam Cahn and Barbara Hammer, to the (in)formal engagements of William Anastasi and Oswald Oberhuber, and through the creatures emerging from the transformations of matter in the work of Katinka Bock and Michael E. Smith, each duo presents a sensual transformative perception.
